One of the most targeted ways to get traffic to your website is doing blog commenting. Blog commenting is when you go to blogs that are related to yours and post that comment in the relevant blog post that you see, in reply to someone else's blog post or someone else's comment. The reason that blog commenting is very powerful is the fact that you can start doing blog commenting today without having that much experience and still get traffic to your website. One of the easiest ways to use blog commenting is by using Google to do all the research for you.
For example, if you have a weight loss blog, what you can do is you can go to Google and type in 'weight loss blog' in Google. By doing so, you'll see the top ten weight loss blogs that are listed by Google right in front of your eyes. What you can then do is go to each blog and find out if they allow comments and if they do, what you need to do is actually start making relevant comments to the blog post that you read or commenting on other people's comments. What this does is it allows people to see what your opinion is and if they like what you're saying and they're interested in going to your website to find out more about you then they can click on the name that you use in the name field when putting in your blog comment. The important thing to realize is that you don't want to do blog commenting the wrong way. This is a mistake a lot of people make. What they do is that they put useless comments on other people's blogs expecting other people to actually read them and come to their blog because of it. That's the wrong way to do blog commenting because it will be looked at as spam and the owner of the blog will most likely just mark your comment as spam and it won't even appear on the blog. So, don't waste your time putting meaningless comments on blogs. Make sure they're relevant to the topic that is being discussed and that you're not just trying to promote your website and tell people to go to your website. You actually want to just comment about what's being discussed on the blog while maybe even putting in a slight hint about information you might have on your website that relates to it.
So for example, if you have weight loss blog and you just commented on weight loss blogs, you want to make a comment that's very relevant to whatever blog post you just read, while stating something along the line to have, "On my own blog I discuss this topic too". So that's how you can sneak in a hint that you have information in your blog and then some of the readers of your comment will go back to your site. You just have to make sure that the comment that you're making is relevant to the blog post and that it's not looked at as spam. That's what you don't want to happen.
