Monetizing Wordpress Auto Blogs - Automatically and Manually
One of the great features of an automatic blog content plugin, is the ability to automatically monetize your blog through the built in affiliate integration points. There is a wide variety of affiliate programs that are supported and the specific tool that you use may or may not provide enough of these products to sell.
Some of the automated blog content plugin tools offer nothing but content integration, while others offer a full list of affiliate programs that can automatically be added. For example, here is a partial list of potential automatic affiliate program integration:
Amazon eBay Clickbank Commission Junction LinkShare ShopZilla Share-A-SaleThat list may be great for some niches, but for others there may be products from other sources that you want to sell, or even need to sell to properly offer the right products to your visitors.
This is an area where I think some people get confused. Even though you might be using autoblogging software to populate your content - and maybe even to include a few products in the blog post - there is no reason that you could not also include other affiliate products, just as you would do with other manual blogs.
Because you are free to use any Wordpress template that you want for an automated blog, you still have the sidebar widgets and other areas of the template to include affiliate listings and banners.
Using an autoblogging software tool gives you the ability to mix and match content to generate WP unique content for your targeted keywords that you have selected. This will in turn start to develop organic search engine traffic for those keywords - assuming you are following proper SEO techniques to optimize for those keywords.
That means you have an opportunity to convert your visitors to buyers because you are a) getting targeted users to your blog for the search terms you select, and b) you are offering them products to purchase that are closely related to the keywords you are targeting.
So the best approach is to mix and match content in your blogs. Depending on the blog subject, I might mix and match a few ebay listings along with some Clickbank listings and Amazon listings right in my blog post. These affiliate listings are automatically inserted and are keyword relevant so they support the overall theme of the article.
But I also have my 'main' affiliate programs that I want to include on every page of the blog and I use widgets for those ads. And of course, you can always use Google ads or other similar types of contextual ads in these widgets as well.
Think about what your visitors might want to purchase when they visit your blog and find products that you can insert manually to support the overall theme of your blog.
