What is a connection request?It means that some other registered EasyHits4U member wants to arrange connection with you. Link to his/her profile will appear on your personal profile page: www.easyhits4u.com/u/motobltr and link to your profile will appear on his/her profile page. It's like a friend's request in other social networks. You will be able to communicate with other connected members, check their sites and profiles, including data with "Connections only" privacy settings. You can accept, decline or postpone any connection request, or even block requests from some particular member in the "Profile" section at any time. How can I connect with other members? You can find profiles of other members during surfing (linked avatar in the top left corner of surfbar), in the "My Referrals" and "My Messages" section, and browsing connected profiles of your existing connections. There is a chance that you've already received some connection requests from other members. | ||||

Submitting Your Blog to Search Engines
The most prominent web search engines like Google, Yahoo and MSN, each entail different methods of accepting a blog. If you submit a blog according to the appropriate method to each respective search engine, you can just ping for your blog whenever you post it. Discussed below are the methods of blog submission to aforementioned top ranked search engines.
Google requires the creation of a sitemap when you submit a blog to this search engine. This eliminates the need to resubmit the same blog. All that is necessary then is that the site map remains updated. Additionally, if a sitemap plug in is installed, a site map will be automatically be updated for certain blogs like Word press. The plug in will also alert Google to the fact that the site has been altered.
It is necessary to note that when submitting blogs to Google, you submit your blog site maps to blog directories that feed Google the results for its blog search. Sites like Feed Shot are quite user friendly for web site map submissions to blog directories. All that would be needed to be done then is that you ping your blog to maintain it at these directories.
Yahoo differs from Google is blog submission primarily due to the fact that it accepts a site feed rather than a sitemap. The blog site feed can be made at the first block. It is also advantageous to submit blogs to a My Yahoo page, as this can expedite the addition of blogs, and get them indexed in Yahoo's blog search.
It should be noted that blog submission to both Google and Yahoo requires the creation of an account which is free of charge.
Finally, we come to MSN, the methodology of blog submission to which, although is direct, and does not require that you have an account. However, the blogs need to be submitted manually to MSN in order to ensure that your blogs are successfully submitted. However they are ways available with MSN that can result in your entire blog showing in its site results. As a result, a lot of potential traffic would be drawn to your work.
As mentioned at the beginning of this article, once you have submitted your blog to the three prominent search engines, i.e. Google, Yahoo, and MSN, you can simply ping each time to post a new blog. It may be worth noting though that there are several blog directories, some of which may or may not be pertinent to your blog. In order to be optimally noticed, you should submit your blog to all those blog directories that are appropriate for your subject.
