AutoBlogging doesn't have to be Confusing, Complicated, or Expensive

It is important to make sure autoblogging is a topic that is made as simple and easy to understand as possible. Besides, those are the principles and ideals that the whole method was created on in the first place. To make it easy easy to understand as possible, autoblogging is simply a method of bloggging automatically and without putting any dedicated work into creating posts and new content for a site.

AutoBlog plugins such as MultiPress Content Lite negate the need for a site owner or blogger to make posts, as they can grab content and posts from all over the internet that relates to your niche or topic. Admins that use the software can set specific topics and keywords for the program to go out and search for, and then the plugin takes care of everything else. You can even also adjust the time and schedule via an easy to understand and set up cron job.
Just keep in mind that as with all autoblogging plugins, MultiPress Lite does not have the ability to create unique content simply because that is not what autoblogging is all about. However, what it does do is send itself out and finds keyword-related content whether it be imagines, videos, or articles.

For example, you can set your autoblogging plugin to seek out content from any website in particular, or find content relation to a certain topic or author, or even just to seek out specific keywords and content relating to it.

And just in case you didnt already know, MultiPress Lite is absolutely free to download and comes with no limitations or drawbacks in any way. It doesnt have to expensive, confusing, or complicated to get autoblogs up and running anymore. All you need to do is utilize the free download, spend a few minutes getting comfortable with the settings, and set up a few customized rules of your own and you will be more than ready t o begin your autoblog empire.

So stop holding yourself back, stop spending hours setting up sites or manually writing content, as there is simply no reason not to use MultiPress Lite. It's free, powerful, easy, and automatic. Do you really want to spend more time making money than you have to?

A new OFFLINE social media marketing idea

While I was driving today I saw a van with Progressive Auto Insurance painted on it. It was probably a company owned van, but I was also reminded of the Geek Squad Beetles that I see every once in awhile and some other company painted cars. This got me thinking. I noticed that paintings or signs on cars often get noticed. People even look at other people's car license plates. Basically, these cars get a lot of eyeballs.

The social media way of marketing offline

Applying my background in Social Media Marketing, I came up with a new marketing idea that is low cost but highly effective. This is how it works: A company creates a program, where they would advertise on the cars of people who commute long distances everyday. They can pay a couple hundred dollars to these people every month to do the exact same things they would be doing anyway. Heck, instead of paying money, this company could just offer to pay all their gas bills.

Social Media is about everyone being a publisher

I include this as social media marketing because the essence of social media is that everyone can be a publisher. Instead of having large budgets to publish on a billboard, everyone has their own little properties (such as blogs) and they can reach their own little niche by publishing or advertising on their little properties. I seriously think more companies should advertise on blogs because bloggers are easy to satisfy monetarily, and you seriously reach a large crowd who pay attention to you just because "Oh! This blogger found advertisers! I wonder how much is she getting paid. Maybe $50/month" "Oh, it's the same company ad on this other blog too! They're all over the place now!" $100 to make 1000 people think you are all over the place. Not a bad deal. So in this case, we're taking the exact same principles but just applying it to an offline property, specifically one's car, where we know already has a lot of eyeballs and follows where the customer goes.

A win-win situation in a bad economy

Especially in this economy, people are very stripped of cash and a lot of them would signup since it does not make their lives more inconvenient. Gas price is expected to rise again, so a program offering to pay for their gas is a win-win situation because the driver would not be concerned of driving longer distances, while the company would gain more exposure for that. If you have 200 of these cars driving around, with lets say about $200 per car per month. That's $40,000 a month, which is the price of many billboards. However, it's convincing that each of these cars will be seen by AT LEAST 20 different people a day(I would say over 100 if the driver spends more than an hour a day commuting), so the total reach would become 20x30x200 = 120,000 per month. What's even better is that these ads are guaranteed to be at where a lot of people are, since it's the people themselves that are taking them there.

Potentials of getting some free press and word-of-mouth marketing

If your company is one of the first to do something like this, people will start to talk about you if they see the same promotion on 3-4 different cars while driving to work. The press might even cover you so there's a lot of added benefits, making it even more cost effective. Even the 200 people who wear your ads will excitingly talk to their friends and their coworkers about it, creating WAY stronger effects than just a billboard ad. Also, what better way to make people's day better than having them be cheerfully reminded of this everyday in the morning? If you know you are making money off just driving, it makes you feel better about commuting, or even when you are stuck in traffic. (Note: for environmental concerns, please still commute when you can. I am referring to people that are already driving that distance no matter what.)

Make it easy for people to opt out and rely on honor codes

In terms of practicality concerns, it would probably be difficult have pe ople's cars painted, because they need something that they can be easily opt out from. However, creating some sort of easily removed stickers and have a few on each side of the car should have the same effects with very low set up costs. Sure, there might be some dishonest people who turn in the gas receipts of their spouses car too etc etc, but even if that is the case, the price of having these mobile ads is still excellent. Obviously it shouldn't go way out of hand, but that's easy to detect. You could probably include in the contract that once someone is caught cheating, they need to return all the gas money that was every given to them because there is no way to verify how much did they cheat on. Fear of that and losing this good deal would probably stop most people from cheating. The point is that you are getting a crazy promotion deal with a fraction of what it would cost you otherwise, and it makes the driver happy too. If you refer back to my blogpost How to Impress Everyone by Just Driving Around, driving becomes ultra productive. You increase your level by learning from podcasts, and you get paid doing it!

HTC Wildfire Review - Useful For Using Facebook

HTC as a phone company became widely known for creating Android phones and at present they are among the principal manufacturer in the market. Over the last twelve months they've come up with plenty of remarkable mobile phone handsets. a good deal of which were top quality handsets. In the previous few weeks, we have seen a new addition - the HTC Wildfire. In this post, i will take a look at the actual main functions and features on the phone and find out what it has to supply Android phone buffs.

The brand new HTC Wildfire makes it possible to keep in touch with those people who are most important to you through HTC Sense, a end user experience centered on putting individuals at the centre by making cell phones work in a more uncomplicated and natural way. You will not lose out on the fun because HTC's Friend Stream application easily collects and exhibits content from web 2 . like Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr into one particular organised sup ply of social network updates. HTC Wildfire enables you to stay up to date with your mates blogposts, opinions, status updates and photos, wherever you happen to be.
Aside from that, each contact seen in HTC Wildfire's address book features a thread of current communications with that person, including when you last talked, current text messages and e-mail, and social network updates. Each time your friend calls, HTC Caller ID shows their Facebook profile picture and latest update, as wel as a reminder should a birthday is coming soon.

Thanks to a brand new application for sharing widget, HTC Wildfire enables you to recommend an app by email, text or over social networking internet sites. Your mates can receive a link allowing them to find the app on the Android Market with a single click and download that to the HTC Wildfire.

HTC's newest leading-edge smartphone is wonderful for seeing and sharing pictures on Flickr and for surfing the internet as a result of its 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display. A 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and also LED flash enables you to capture specific events, while a 3.5m m audio jack and micro sd card slot mean that you are never without having your favourite music.

To summarize, the HTC Wildfire mobile phone is better referred to as a scaled-down model of the best selling HTC Desire android. They both look similar, though the HTC Wildfire mobile is missing a number of capabilities. All the same, this phone is also cheaper than the Desire and still has impressive functions Inside a society where social network happens to be very important to a number of us, the HTC Wildfire ticks all the right boxes. It can't be at all easier to get on to Facebook, Myspace and Twitter to get the latest news with family and friends.

Easy Back Link Strategies

If you are just starting out in affiliate marketing, here are some ways to get some back links without spending a ton of money:

1) OnlyWire: OnlyWire includes a free Wordpress plugin that lets you submit your posts to a number of social bookmarking sites just by clicking on a button. It submits your site and/or articles to some high PR sites, but does have the annoying element that you need to log into your e-mail and confirm submissions to certain sites. You can also pay a minimal fee while not having to cope with this annoyance.

2) Article submission: Article marketing to directories is a tried-and-true solution to drive traffic towards your website. Even though some recommend submitting articles to any and every directory you'll find, it's not a good overall tactic. It is better to focus on article directories that have real page rank and authority, for example EzineArticles.com, ArticlesBase.com, and GoArticles.com. EzineArticles.com has arbitrary regulations that can change almost psychotically,, but if you build up a nice sized bank of articles with them, you'll have clicks to your money site for months, or even years, in the future.

3) Web 2.: Blogging sites like Squidoo.com, Blogger.com, HubPages.com are valuable places to build back links to your money site. A very nice way to produce links on Web 2. sites is by utilizing Posterous.com. You merely sign up for Posterous by sending an e-mail to post@posterous.com and an account will then be made for you. You can then choose "Autopost" and have Posterous to post to a variety of Web 2.0 sites like Facebook, Twitter, FriendFeed, Blogger, Xanga and Wordpress.com.

4) Blog Commenting: Leaving comments on other people's blogs is another good strategy. But you shouldn't be lazy and leave boring comments like "Great site! I'll be back soon!" If I see a comment like this on my own sites, I immediately trash it, and you also probably do as well. So why waste your time and effort leaving a worthless comment which has no chance of becoming approved? Hunt for blogs that are within your niche and leave a link back to your site in anchor text if possible.

5) Forum Profiles: Another great avenue for back links. Forums can be difficult to locate, though. Try a Google search for "Powered by phpBB" and your keyword. Create a profile, then leave your keyword in anchor text inside your signature. Be cautious with this tactic; many forums will delete your profile in a heartbeat should you add a signature the second you register for an account. If your forum has enough page rank, it's worth making a comment or two within the forum, then adding a signature link in one or two weeks.

6) Video creation: If you don't know it already, YouTube.com is now the second largest search engine after Google, so getting some videos on the market is definitely worth the effort. They get indexed almost instantly, and are an easy way to create back links for your site. You can simply re-purpose one of your articles for video content. There are several options to make free videos, such as Windows Movie Maker and Cam Studios. Its not necessary to produce an Oscar-worthy video; just put your main points in PowerPoint and narrate the rest of the article. It's said that if you show your face, you gain more credibility in your audience, which makes sense. You definitely don't need to be Hollywood-star attractive; just be well-groomed and speak with sincerity. Even if you just show your mug for only a few seconds at the start of your video, or upload a still picture of yourself, it'll aid in your credibility with your audience.

.
However real power in back linking comes when you begin to link all of these strategies together in a calculated method in which looks natural to Google. You will find far more sophisticated linking strategies than the these ones that will propel your website to the front page of Google faster than you ever thought possible. These not-for-the-faint-of-heart strategies are taught at myaffiliateapprentice.com. Check it out if you're prepared to learn what takes the big boys and girls in marketing to the top of the heap.

To Automate or Not to Automate, That is the Question

There is a common practice businesses are using when trying to come up with the perfect workflow for how to manage their own business website, blog and social media. This practice involves setting up the business website to feed blog content they post directly to their social networks automatically. The news they post on their blog is sent almost instantaneously to Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn with the click of a mouse. This frees the business blogger from having to post in multiple places. It is the perfect setup for those who are too busy to give more attention to their online presence. Or is it?

The problem here is that the goal is to utilize social media to help promote the business, however the business is not contributing the amount of time and effort it truly requires to make these outlets bring in traffic.

Social networks such as Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn all have something that sets them apart from one another. They all co-exist for a reason. They do not all offer the same service, otherwise there would be no need for more than just one of them. As they are all different and should be treated differently.

Sure, it's very convenient during busy times to allow your blog to auto-feed content to all of the social networks without the user having to put in any extra effort. If the ultimate goal is to use blogging and social media for business, the business needs to take a little more time and effort to make them more appealing and effective in the various social sites.
There may be certain things your business needs to appear on the blog but not be broadcast over social networking sites. There may be certain ideas or stories which would be great for Facebook and Twitter but perhaps not be appropriate on, say, LinkedIn -or your company's professional business blog. There will also be times that the intent would be to have the same content appear on both social networking sites as well as business or professional sites, e.g. LinkedIn, the blog, and all of the social networks, but they all will appear differently to the detriment of the effectiveness of the article.

Sacrificing the appearance and effectiveness of what is posted on a company's social networks may not be worth saving a little time and effort. The fact is that hand-posting on social media sites provides better functionality, better looks and an overall better experience for the end user. For example, Facebook will allow for an image to be pulled and selected from certain links and then you can change titles and descriptions before posting it. The image gives it a better look, and the links and description allow for more functionality. Twitter only allows 140 characters, but they also provide some advanced functionality, such as @ signs to mention other users, and # hash tags to pick up search terms. The limitations of twitter can mangle an autoposted article eliminating much of the intent. The business blogger may have spent a lot of time to create the perfect blog post with a pretty picture, great title, rich text and cool images, so why would they not have their social media presence reflect just that.

If a business wants to have a successful online presence and optimize social media to their fullest advantage, there must be investment of time and effort. If you feel like you haven't been seeing positive results on any of your networks lately, why not try to be more active and hand-post content instead of filling your s ocial media outlets with what looks like a boring, text heavy, automated mess. Steer your company image away from being too busy, and craft an image of a caring, informative authority by using social media more effectively.

Beginning a Blog With Posterous

Introduction

Blogging is an increasingly-popular Internet activity; indeed, estimates in 2006 claimed that something of the order of 175,000 new blogs were created every day - one every half a second. There is a correspondingly wide range of sophistication and features between the major blogging platforms out there; some features come at a cost, either financial or in terms of complexity. As such, a new writer wishing to begin a new blog is faced with a difficult choice as to what their blogging platform should be. Ideally, the choice of platform should not impact the writing, but that is not often the case. Indeed, the complexity and difficulty to maintain the new creation is one of the main reasons why the vast majority of blogs out there soon become inactive after they are initially created. If it is difficult to add a new post or edit an existing one, typically the blogger loses interest very early.

In recent times, blogging platforms have looked to simplify the whole process, and strive to integrate with other online services such as Facebook or Twitter to help in the promotion of blog posts in the social networking realm. The most successful platforms are those which achieve such integration as seamlessly as possible. If a platform allows announcement of new posts, inclusion of comments, and handy "widgets" on the site to allow visitors to easily refer their friends to your writing, this can be a very powerful tool indeed.

The Posterous platform is one blogging system that manages to perform this integration very well; its support for social networking is constantly growing. However, despite its extraordinary power, it uses one of the most familiar environments for users to create and edit posts; it leverages their existing familiarity and the ubiquitousness of email. By automatically handling posts and converting file attachments, it delivers a very feature-rich experience; extraordinarily, it can do this without even requiring signing up for the service. This article explains how.

Getting Started with Posterous

All it takes to start a blog with Posterous is a single email. Simply post your first blog post to post@posterous.com writing the title of your post in the subject line and the text in the email body. If you include rich text effects like italics in your email, those will follow through directly into your post. In this way, your familiar email client becomes your blog posting "dashboard"; there is no need to learn a new editor, and all modern email clients offer support for the HTML effects you would like to use to spice up your posts. There is no separate account creation step; if you have never posted before, Posterous will create your site with suitable defaults; otherwise, your latest blog post will be published immediately. Smart phones are already supported; if you can send email, then you can post to your blog.

Personalizing your Posterous Site

The first response from Posterous you get on sending a new blog post from a new email address will reply with a link to a page which will let you set up your site, including assigning a theme, URL, and title. Posterous also offers you a statistics page which shows, at a glance, the number of views your page has, and offers you options to subscribe to other Posterous blogs via email (although of course regular RSS is of course supported). One friendly item on the Posterous member page is it lists, with a progress bar, precisely the steps you might like to perform to customize your blog and make the most of the features Posterous offers. This is a gentle way to introduce the things Posterous is capable of; behind its "post by email" simplicity is a feature-rich, powerful platform.

Promotion and Integration

One of the most powerful features of the Posterous platform is it can announce new posts and comments on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter, thus promoting your work with the minimum of effort. Even more than that, by a mechanism known as autoposting, posts to the Posterous blog can also be immediately published on other blog platforms as well, including Blogger and WordPress. Once integration is set up and with suitable settings, Posterous will announce your new posts on your social media feeds, and can even be instructed to post comments as tweets or Facebook updates. Posterous also knows precisely what to do with email attachments. If several images are attached to your post, they will be presented in the blog post as a scrollable photo album. Files attached in document formats such as PDF are shown using Scribd e-paper, which allows them to be viewed and read in most modern browsers, without a download.

Summary

Posterous is an imaginative combination of many Internet technologies to deliver one of the simplest, friendliest blogging platforms out there, but its simplicity belies its power. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, or whether you are looking for a primary blogging platform or a backup for a second blog, Posterous is worth a look.
