How to Embed Your Blogs RSS Feed Into Your Website

If you have a website, you know that one of the major SEO tips to keep your site crawled by the search engine spiders is to keep your website content fresh. Search engines love websites that are continually active and are being updated on a regular basis. Let's say you have a landing page, or just a basic company website. You may not want to have to jump into your cPanel every other day and try and update your site if it doesn't have to be updated. A good way to combat this is by embedding your blog's RSS feed into your website.

By embedding your blog's RSS feed into your website, this helps to keep your content fresh on your main website and also lets your visitors know that you aren't an old website that has remained stagnant. The feed will show up on your website as a box, and every time you update your blog, it will show up on that box that is displayed on your website.

I will outline a quick and easy step by step guide to embedding your blog's RSS feed into your personal/business website; I have found rssinclude.com to be by far the simplest method and it's free!

Go to rssinclude.com Click the blue button, Create a new RSSbox Choose a design, I recommend Simple Vertical List for it's ease and simplicity Enter in the full URL for your blog or website feed, then click Add Feed Just above your added feed's URL, in the same box, click the tab entitled Content and Styling Options - this is where you get to change your box feed's look to match your website's color scheme, and change any other settings you would like such as limiting the maximum entries to your last 3 or your last 5 posts. Have fun customizing your new feed box! Once you have made your customizations, scroll down and click Save & Preview If you like what you see with the preview on the right of your customization options, then click the tab above your customization options entitled Include! Click Register for Free, follow the next steps and then copy and paste the code into your website HTML code - most likely your index.html file

I hope you found this to be simple and easy. If you don't have a blog of your own, then consider adding an RSS feed to your website of a website/blog regarding topics in your industry or of the latest media news.
